What We Do

Keycomm help people living in Edinburgh and the Lothians (Midlothian, East and West Lothian) who have communication impairments make use of technology to contribute to and control their environments. The technology supports Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC).

Our Services

We provide five core services:

ASSESSMENT:
You can refer someone to Keycomm for a complete communication technology assessment. This means filling out a short referral form and then one member of the Keycomm team will visit you/the user.

LOAN BANK:
You can borrow items from our extensive loan bank. If you know what you want to try, just call up and see if it is available in our loan bank. Loans are usually made for a period of 2-5 months.

TRAINING:
You can attend one of our various training courses. These are usually half day modular courses presented throughout the year on various topics.

SUPPORT:
We can work with you to develop a communication technology programme for individual users and their facilitators. We would support in its implementation, and would be on hand to meet training and equipment needs.

INFORMATION:
You can call us on 0131 311 7130 for information or to make an enquiry about issues with equipment.
